I decided I like going out to take pictures of leaves in the street--much of this decision is probably based on the fact that people look at me weird when they see me peering at street debris, and if they're looking at me weird it's because I'm not doing something normal, which is great. Though I like the photos that I get, taking the pictures is really more of a zen thing. Most of them I don't pose or put together--I find them positioned like that and then I snap a photo. If I were being philosophical I would say that 'it's more 'bout the journey, man, not the result' but that's not quite right. I don't meld easily with the town that I live, and all the things it is conventionally proud of are aversive to me. Therefore the things that I find interesting or pretty are those things that are completely anonymous.

holy shit. when did that happen? still, thats pretty cool for an arbitrary measure of fame. I promised myself I would write a journal entry if I ever reached this point, and now I have. I've still got more art from the last few months to post, and this occurrence has spurred an art dump.
I'm Back
I've got at least 10+ pictures to upload here, and now that my camera is fixed I'll get them up soon. It's been a while. Moving into a new apartment and discovering the joys of hoarding items in Diablo have eaten up most of my time.
Thanks for the faves
I've recently been more active on deviant art, looking at lots and lots of awesome photos that there seems to be no end to. At this point, I have more than 200 favorite notifications on my work, and I'm never going to get through to thanking them all, so I did this.
Depression
Hits hard. At some point I'll do more art. Nanowrimo is coming, So I will probably be too busy with that in the next month or so.

You are practicing the lost ART of photography. Going out...observing...waiting...searching...being in the right place at just the right moment...and then capturing that moment in time. I really like your attitude, Kitty. Your...unconventionality. It's that rare element of your nature that makes your Voice so fascinating!
