I decided I like going out to take pictures of leaves in the street--much of this decision is probably based on the fact that people look at me weird when they see me peering at street debris, and if they're looking at me weird it's because I'm not doing something normal, which is great.  Though I like the photos that I get, taking the pictures is really more of a zen thing.  Most of them I don't pose or put together--I find them positioned like that and then I snap a photo.  If I were being philosophical I would say that 'it's more 'bout the journey, man, not the result' but that's not quite right.  I don't meld easily with the town that I live, and all the things it is conventionally proud of are aversive to me.  Therefore the things that I find interesting or pretty are those things that are completely anonymous.

You are practicing the lost ART of photography. Going out...observing...waiting...searching...being in the right place at just the right moment...and then capturing that moment in time. I really like your attitude, Kitty. Your...unconventionality. It's that rare element of your nature that makes your Voice so fascinating!
